Grain moisture and weight meter: monitoring for threshing, drying and storage.
Grain moisture is a critical parameter for the decision on when to thresh and the type of storage required. Various moisture determination methods are available, with different levels of accuracy.
CLAAS grain moisture and weight meters provide fast and problem-free measurement of the moisture, temperature and hectolitre weight of a crop sample. The automatic temperature and hectolitre weight comparison guarantees accurate results.
This allows the immediate determination of the nutritional value of the grain. Just shake a grain sample into the funnel, hold the handle down and move it back and forth, and in a matter of moments the CLAAS grain moisture and weight meter displays the moisture of the whole grains, accurate to ± 0.5%, and their weight.
